Shoes? you’re asking. What do shoes have to do with creating my on-line presence?
One of my on-line adventures uses a fabulous marketing video about shoes. I loved this video right from the moment I pressed Play. So, what are you wearing on your feet right now? Personally, as I write, I am wearing comfortable cross-trainers that are taking me on a fabulous adventure with my youngest daughter. I am wearing the shoes of my choice. I am not putting on dress shoes for an office image, or ugly sensible shoes to keep my feet safe on the job, or stiff, heavy boots to keep the muck or chemicals off my skin. I woke up this morning and slipped into a pair of shoes that will keep my feet happy all weekend as my daughter and I shop and explore and talk and eat and, tonight, stand and jump and dance at a rockin’ concert.
The freedom to wear whichever shoes I want has to be one of the most unrecognized perks about financial freedom. An on-line business allows you that perk. Perhaps you wouldn’t wear shoes at all, just settle into a chaise on the lanai and open your laptop, the fresh sea breeze blowing new ideas into your imagination. Maybe you would slip on thick socks and hikers and sit on a ridge, the magnificent view providing inspiration as you plan and create your on-line presence. Stop reading for a moment, close your eyes and think what you would have on your feet if you had the choice. Leave a comment at the bottom of this post.
I want you to click the link in this sentence and download the free e-book from Ann Sieg. This is the first step to “choice” in the shoe department. It’s free, folks. Free. Not like those lottery tickets so many people keep buying.
